What I Believe
One God in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit
God the Father almighty Creator of heaven and earth, who gives and sustains all life
Jesus Christ, the only Son of God Conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary — fully God and fully man
Crucified, died and was buried He suffered under Pontius Pilate and gave Himself as the substitute for our sins
Risen on the third day By His resurrection death has no power over His people
Ascended into heaven Seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty
He will come again For His church, and to judge the living and the dead
The Holy Spirit God, present in all creation, dwelling in us and working through us
The holy universal Church The people of God and the communion of saints — not a building, but His body
Forgiveness of sins By grace through faith in Christ, not by works, so that no one may boast
